The completed form needs to be turned into the Co-curricular Office within two weeks after the student's respective season ends. Deadlines for each sport are listed on the back of the credit verification form.
NOTE: The sport being used for the verification of completion must occur in the same school year as the PE III WIAA-CPL class enrolled. For example, a student enrolled in PEIII WIAA-CPL for 2020-2021 must complete in a sport during the 2020-2021 school year as well.
Financial Literacy Graduation Requirement
The Hartford Union High School District requires all students to demonstrate proficiency in the knowledge and skills of personal financial literacy in order to receive a high school diploma. The financial literacy graduation requirement is intended to ensure all students have acquired the basic competencies necessary for making informed financial decisions in life after high school. Financial literacy proficiency is a Board of Education-approved graduation requirement and is tied to our Focus on Careers course that students take as a Junior. After completing the course, students attend a reality-check day where they simulate their lives 10 years from now based on career choice, family make-up, and other spending decisions. After participating in the event, the financial literacy graduation requirement is then met by completing a reflection about their financial decisions and the effects these decisions have on their future.
Early Graduation
Students planning to graduate at the end of any term their senior year must meet with their counselor and complete the early graduation process. Diplomas for all graduates will be issued after graduation in June. HUHS conducts one graduation ceremony and early graduates have the option to participate. Parent/guardian signature is required on the following form prior to graduation:
