Credit Recovery Summer School
HUHS offers students the opportunity to recover failed classes during summer school beginning Monday, June 12 - Friday, July 7 (no class July 3-4), from 8:00am - 12:00pm.
Students are only required to attend until all learning targets are met. They will earn a Pass grade and credit upon completion of each course. Students who do not attend summer school will need to make up their required coursework next year in order to fulfill HUHS's graduation requirements.
Please use this Registration Form prior to Tuesday, May 23 to sign up for credit recovery summer school. Confirmation letters and student schedules will be mailed after all registration forms have been processed, typically after June 1.
Only 1 excused absence is allowed. Transportation is not provided.
Student/Family Access Login Problems
If you are having problems with Family/Student Access (Skyward) which may include notifications that the username or password is incorrect, please make sure you are on the correct Skyward link (it will say Hartford Union High School).
If you are unable to register your student(s) for a summer school class, and/or request Cohort, or 2017-2018 courses, please make sure you are logged in as your student. Students are set up to register for summer school courses, Cohort, and 2017-2018 courses, not parents. We do this to get the students used to logging in. Parents can view course requests when they are logged into Family Access. Parents are able to register their student for courses; they just need to use the students log in and password.
Advanced Placement (AP) Summer Course Work
Please be aware some AP courses have work that must be completed over summer. AP teachers will notify students of any summer work around May.
AP US History Prep Course: Students should watch their email for more information about this summer session.
Please contact Mr. Kelly for additional information.
