- Residents of Wisconsin

Charles Kenealy was an active member of the Erin community. He had a passion for his kids and baseball.
This is a $3,000 Scholarship. A recipient will be selected based on financial need, academic standing (B average), and school/community involvement. Special emphasis placed on character and school/community involvement. All students are encouraged to apply.
Recipients must submit:
- A recommendation letter from someone who can attest to their character.
- A copy of his/her high school transcript
- A brief essay describing the activities he/she is involved in, what their future educational/professional plans are, and why he/she is deserving of the scholarship.

The Hartford Rotary Club will award 3 scholarships per year to:
1) A former Rotary Student of the Month
2) Students at large at Hartford Union High School
Applications will be weighted to students that show leadership skills in school, on athletic teams or clubs and at work. Students applying must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher.
The Hartford Rotary Club will award $2,000 per person over two years. A student will have to prove after the first year that he/she is deserving of a second year scholarship ($1,000). To renew the scholarship for the 2nd year, a student must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA or higher, provide a copy of his/her college transcript and verify that he/she is enrolled for a 2nd year.
