Requirements:

Seniors planning to enter an educational program associated with the legal field at an accredited local college with special emphasis on prospective legal secretaries, legal assistants and/or paralegals. Applicants must be students with a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA and who are attending or plan to attend a school which offers a one-or two-year legal secretarial, legal assistant, paralegal or other qualifying legal services program. The Milwaukee area winner may also become eligible for consideration for any scholarship offered at the state level of the Wisconsin Association for Legal Professionals.

Hartford Rotary Culinary Arts Scholarship

 

This scholarship was established with monies from the Hartford Rotary Club to develop funds for a student with a career plan in the culinary arts/hospitality fields.  

 

The Scholarship is for $1,000.  The recipient must show enthusiasm for culinary arts, have solid citizenship grades, and high marks in his/her culinary courses.  Student must demonstrate a high work ethic, shows responsibility and initiative in the culinary lab, and show proof of acceptance to a post secondary program.

JULIE PELTIER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP


 

Julie was a longtime field forester for the Wisconsin DNR stationed at the Kettle Moraine State Forest-Pike Lake Unit in Hartford, Wisconsin.  Her passion for the outdoors and her love of working with people earned the respect and admiration of many friends, peers and volunteers in her profession.  She was persistently dedicated to the advancement and protection of our natural resources.


 

In Julie’s remembrance, the Friends of Pike Lake, Inc. will be awarding an annual scholarship of $ 500.00 to an eligible graduate of either Hartford Union High School or Slinger High School beginning with year 2019 graduates.  


 

Criteria for scholarship eligibility is as follows:

 

  • High school graduate with a cumulative grade point average 3.0 or better;

 

  • Acceptance to an undergraduate program leading to a bachelor-of-science degree in a College of Natural Resources with a focus in the areas of forestry or natural resource management;

 

Or

 

  • Acceptance to an Associate of Science program with a focus in the areas of forestry or natural resource management.

Please follow the following instructions when filling out the application forms:

1. Form #1 is to be completed by the applicant. Make sure to include essay on “What Bowling Means to Me” and sign and date form.

WEAC - Wisconsin Education Association Council State & Local Scholarships 2/1/2020 1450.00
Requirements:

We are pleased to let you know that the Wisconsin Education Association Council is again offering a scholarship to eligible high school seniors who are planning to enter the field of education. Winners of the scholarship will receive a grant of $1,450.00 per year for four years of study, provided they remain eligible.

High school seniors who are planning to go into the field of education and whose parent(s) are a WEAC member, a WEAC retired member or who died while holding a WEAC membership are eligible to apply.

In addition, the student must rank in the top 25% of his/her class or have achieved a 3.0 cumulative grade point average (based on a 4.0 non-weighted scale) at the time of application, plan to pursue an education major or minor and intend to teach in Wisconsin. (All A's = 4 points, B's = 3 points, C's = 2 points, D's = 1 point, F's = 0 points.)

Each year one of the four scholarships shall be designated the Kathy Mann Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship shall be awarded to a minority student. In the event that no minority student applies or meets the criteria, the Kathy Mann Scholarship shall not be awarded. In its place a regular WEAC Scholarship shall be awarded.

Scholarship applications must be postmarked no later than February 1, 2020.

Requirements:

The Foundation of the Wisconsin Automobile & Truck Dealers is pleased to announce that scholarships will be available in 2020 for graduating high school seniors, adult students and continuing technical college students who are pursuing a career in the auto and truck industry.
