Connected Learning
HUHS is committed to providing a robust support system for student learning and staff productivity. At the core of this is quality service, person to person, and robust network infrastructure. HUHS provides students a laptop they can take home, a dense wireless infrastructure to support learning in the classroom and desktop, network, and curriculum integration support that is always in the building.
Students and staff have access to Google Apps for Education for productivity and collaboration. A variety of online databases is available via the library media center to guide research and discovery. Lynda.com, one of the best video libraries for learning on the web, is also available for our students and staff to build their skills.
Finally, security is of utmost concern to the district. We employ a next-generation firewall to protect our internal network, along with constantly updated and patched systems that help run our storage, switches, and computers.

Printing Procedure for Students who Bring Their Own Device
Students who have opted out of using an HUHS issued laptop and bring their own have a different way of printing called a Web Print Please follow these instructions explaining how to do that.
Note: Students who bring their own device and have to use the Web Print feature can only print to the Library printer in black and white. If you want to print something in color you would have to use one of four computers in the Library near the silent work area room or use another student’s computer.
