Requirements:

Two Scholarships available.

$1000 In-Resident Scholarship- Up to ten awarded.  Leadership positions , sports and activities, community involvement, and academic achievement will be considered equally.  Applicant will be notified of results within three weeks of completing the application.  

$500 Academic Scholarship- Up to two awarded.  Applicants who qualify will be notified before March 2018 and will be required to attend and interview in September 2018.

This scholarship was established with monies from the Hartford Rotary Club to develop funds for a student with a career plan in the culinary arts/hospitality fields.  

 

The Scholarship is for $1,000.  The recipient must show enthusiasm for culinary arts, have solid citizenship grades, and high marks in his/her culinary courses.  Student must demonstrate a high work ethic, shows responsibility and initiative in the culinary lab, and show proof of acceptance to a post secondary program.

Requirements:

All students MUST meet each of the following criteria:

  • All applicants must be senior high school students eligible for graduation.
  • Applicants must be a child or grandchild of a member of the Milwaukee AHEPA Chapter #43 family or Daughters of Penelope, OR, of Hellenic descent and reside in the four County area including Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee and Washington Counties.

Requirements:

The National Farmers Organization (NFO) is sponsoring their annual Steve Pavich Memorial and Farm Kids for College scholarships for Wisconsin High School seniors interested in pursuing an education in Agriculture. Applicants will automatically be eligible to win both scholarships by completing one application.
Agriculture Majors could include: Agronomy, Ag Business Management, Ag Chemical Engineering, Ag Education or extension, Ag Engineering, Ag Journalism, Biochemistry, Dairy Sciences, Entomology, Food Water Resources Management, Nutrition, Pre-Veterinary Medicine, Rural Planning and Sociology, Soil Sciences, or a host of other disciplines that impact modern agriculture and rural life.

Awards:

The Steve Pavich Scholarship winner will receive $750 and advance to the national competition for the Farm Kids for College Scholarship.  The second place winner will receive the $250 Steve Pavich Memorial Scholarship.

You must declare a major in Chemistry at the point of registration at UWSP.

WEAC - Wisconsin Education Association Council State & Local Scholarships 2/1/2018 1450.00

Greetings:

We are pleased to let you know that the Wisconsin Education Association Council is again offering a scholarship to eligible high school seniors who are planning to enter the field of education. Winners of the scholarship will receive a grant of $1,450.00 per year for four years of study, provided they remain eligible.

High school seniors who are planning to go into the field of education and whose parent(s) are aWEAC member, a WEAC retired member or who died while holding a WEAC membership are eligible to apply.

In addition, the student must rank in the top 25% of his/her class or have achieved a 3.0 cumulative grade point average (based on a 4.0 non-weighted scale) at the time of application, plan to pursue an education major or minor and intend to teach in Wisconsin. (All A's = 4 points, B's = 3 points, C's = 2 points, D's = 1 point, F's = 0 points.)

Each year one of the four scholarships shall be designated the Kathy Mann Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship shall be awarded to a minority student. In the event that no minority student applies or meets the criteria, the Kathy Mann Scholarship shall not be awarded. In its place a regular WEACScholarship shall be awarded.

Scholarship applications must be postmarked no later than February 1, 2018.
