Email English Teacher Introduction
My name is Stevy Schliewe, and I am proud to be in my seventh year of teaching, three of which have been spent at HUHS (my husband, Bill, is also an English teacher at HUHS). We have a one year old daughter named Scarlett whom we absolutely adore! And yes, she already loves books! I am in my last year of graduate school and looking to complete my degree in may. I will add two reading certifications to the English Teaching license I already hold. This year, I am working with Mrs. Heather Weise and Mrs. Michelle Yu in promoting the district literacy initiative.
Course Information
Most of my day is spent teaching English 10. I co-teach three workshop sections with Mrs. McLean (formerly Ms. Fischer). We have a great time reading, learning, and laughing with all of our students.
