She attended Marquette University and double majored in Spanish and Speech Therapy. She attended the University of Madrid during her Junior year. After college she moved to southern Spain for several years. She has traveled extensively to over 40 countries and 5 continents. This is her fifth year at HUHS teaching Spanish and ELL students with previous experience at MPTC and Herman School. In her free time, she enjoys camping, traveling, and training for triathlons. |

She attended UW-Platteville where she earned a major in English and a minor in French. She has since earned a minor in Spanish. She has traveled extensively in France and Central America. She is in her third year at HUHS teaching French II, III, and IV, and 2 sections of Spanish I. In her freetime she enjoys reading, traveling, and remodeling the family house. |

She attended UW-Platteville where she earned a triple major in German, International Studies and Education with a French minor. She lived and studied in Kassel, Germany during her time at the university and has traveled in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, France and many other countries. This is her fifth year at HUHS with 8 years of previous experience at Campbellsport Junior High/High School. She is currently teaching French I and is at Oriole Academy the rest of the day. She is currently pursuing her Master's Degree from Marian College in Differentiated Instruction for the At-Risk Learner. She enjoys reading, baking, sports and spending time with her family. |

She is a German native who came to Hartford in 1993 as an Amity Aide from Solingen. She graduated from the University of Cologne, Germany with a Master's Degree in English as a Second Language and English Literature in 1992. After getting married here, she worked on getting her teaching license in German as a world language and had taught German part-time at various schools in the area, such as one of our feeder schools, Saylesville School, from 1996-2003. She also translated for local businesses and taught German classes for adults through Moraine Park Technical College. Frau Scharpf had worked at HUHS on a part-time basis since 1998 and joined the department as a full-time staff member in the 2003-04 school year. |

He attended UW-Whitewater with a semester abroad at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. He earned a double major in English and Spanish at Whitewater. He has a Master's Degree in Spanish from Cal State-Sacramento. With this program he studied summers in Guanajuato, Mexico, Arequipa, Peru, Burgos, Spain (He received a Rockefeller Fellowship to study there.), and San Jose, Costa Rica. His Master's thesis was entitled, "La Desforestación de la Selva Tropical". A él le gusta pescar en Pickel Lake, Ontario. También le encantan los Cerveceros y los Empacadores. |

She has been teaching at HUHS for 21 years. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and graduated with a major in Spanish and Education with a Professional Business minor. She earned her Master's Degree from National Louis University in Curriculum and Instruction. Currently she is teaching Spanish III and IV. She has traveled to Mexico, Spain, and South America and lived for a year in Peru. She enjoys traveling, collecting antiques, crafting, spending time with her family, playing golf, and running. |

This is her 19th year teaching at HUHS. She went to Carroll College, where she earned a major in Spanish and a double minor in Education and English. She earned a Master's degree in Education through Aurora University. Currently she is teaching Spanish 1 and 2. She has traveled to Spain, Colombia, and Mexico. She enjoys reading, crafting and spending time with her son. |

This is his 2nd year teaching at HUHS. Originally from Rwanda, he graduated from UW-Platteville with a degree in Spanish and Education. He is currently teaching Accelerated Spanish II and Spanish III. He enjoys spending time with his family. |
