Challenge Winners

The Welding Challenges are a hands-on competition where students showcase skills learned in Welding II.  The student must be able to read a blueprint with welding symbols and produce a quality product.  The judging panel evaluates the product for accuracy (within tolerance) of machining materials and layout, along with quality welds according to AWS (American Welding Society).  The best quality product for the class is then recognized and awarded.
