Background
I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Wildlife Biology from Purdue University and a Bachelor and Master of Science Degree in Geology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. For sixteen years, I worked as an environmental consultant specializing in investigation and remediation of hazardous waste, and contaminated soil and water.

I am married and have three daughters. My oldest daughter graduated from Purdue University and is now attending the Medical College of Wisconsin. My twin daughters are freshmen at the University of Minnesota. All three of my daughters attended Pewaukee High School and were members of the varsity swim team. They were also members of the New Berlin Swim Club. In High School, they participated in varsity choir, swing choir, robotics, and the forensics team.

My hobbies are hunting and fishing, particularly musky fishing. I jog whenever I get a chance and usually log about 10 to 12 miles a week. I am the advisor for the Environmental Club and the Druid Lake Wetland Restoration Project. I also sing bass in the choir at Queen of Apostle's Church in Pewaukee.
