Awards

Awards are presented each year on the basis of participation.  A student earns 5 points for each Wisconsin Math League test taken (at least one correct answer must be given) and 10 points for each Invitational attended.  Therefore, a student attending all Math Team events could earn 70 points in a single year.

Points carry over each year, and students are awarded on the number of points accumulated at the end of a the current season.  A student with 100 points at the end of the year is awarded a pin. If that student has at least 150 points at the end of the following year, a letter is awarded. More than one award may be given to a student if enough points have been earned in a single year.
