The library media center is open to all students before/after school and during study halls. Understand that the LMC is for...

information seeking
serious discussion
reading, writing
media browsing

but it is not for...

game playing
in-school napping
avoiding school work
midday snacking

Students assigned to study hall may report directly to the library at the beginning of the period. They must sign-in and present their ID cards. Students may not leave the Media Center mid-period without a written pass from the media specialist or a supervision teacher.

No eating or drinking in the LMC!

Priority is given to classes wishing to use of the media center collections and lab.  The media center staff may restrict use by independent researchers / browsers if the library is full. If the library is closed to study hall we will post this on the entry door.  During closed periods, students with homework assignment may enter with a pass from the LMC staff.  These students will be expected to work individually.
Loud and disruptive activity interfers with the rights of other students. Keep your cool or lose the privilege to use the LMC outside of class.
