Many people are unfamiliar with Speech and Language disorders.

A person who is unable to produce speech sounds correctly or fluently or has problems with his or her voice may have a speech disorder (e.g., articulation or stuttering)

A person who has trouble understanding others (receptive language) or sharing thoughts, ideas, and feelings (expressive language) may have a language disorder.
Who?: Both children and adults can have speech and language disorders.
Why?: Speech and Language (Sp/L) disorders can be a result of a medical problem, or may have no known cause.
