The son of itinerate Scandinavian circus performers, this Hawaiian native spent his formative years trying to fulfill his true destiny. Giving up, he made his move to HUHS. It has been all downhill from there. Despite being a devoted father to two wonderful children, he remains a constant source of disappointment to them both. His reading list is extensive, however, absorbing all the classics in illustrated comic book form. If you can drag him out to the movie theatres, you will also discover his lack of interest in needlepoint, small engine repair and modern dance. He is a true product of contemporary pop culture.

The number one passion of Mrs. Handlos is living life to the fullest and always having as much fun as possible.  Spending time with her husband is of top priority.  She and her husband live in Milwaukee and enjoy the “city life”.  Traveling is another priority.  She has traveled to all United States except Alaska, most provinces in Canada, the Bahamas, Jamaica, and Mexico.  As a People to People Student Ambassador delegation leader, she has traveled to England, Ireland, Wales, France, Italy, Sicily, Malta, and Australia.  During the summer of 2009, she is traveling to China and can’t wait.  In her spare time, she enjoys working out, yoga, golfing (even though she’s not that good), swimming, reading, cleaning and organizing (yes, it’s true), playing the piano, singing, and just being her randomly happy self.  Her friends are of prime importance to her, therefore enabling her to be a bit of a social butterfly.

At the current time, Mr. Moser is working on his first novel, The Eccentric Life of Elmo.

The multi-talented Ms. Weise is a Nobel Prize winner author and her current book, Driving Me Nuts, is being considered for the National Book Award. Using simple utterances as "I can't take it anymore!" or "The woman stepped into the light", her style is very Hemingway-esque. She credits her success as an author to her vast life experiences, such as walking the dogs and driving her car. In her spare time, you can find Ms. Weise racing bobsleds, country-line dancing, and cross-stitching Elvis portraits.
