  A graduate of UW-Madison, Sarrah is a huge Badger fan! She lives in Wauwatosa and is married to a Tosa West teacher and coach, named Stephen.  She has a daughter, named Ana and a son, named Padraig.    Being active is her passion, she enjoys mountain biking, spinning, running, camping and traveling.  Sarrah is also a member of a book club. Some of her favorite authors are John Irving, Pat Conroy and Toni Morrison.

NetSerf: The Internet Connection for Medieval Resources

Through the Catholic University of America. One of the top 5 Medieval Sites by Kathy Schrock. Provides access to an impressive array of scholarly resources on Medieval times and also has many other website links. Great Medieval News links as well.

ORB: The Online Reference Book for Medieval Studies

Links to 9 other websites, has interactive and scholarly information as well. Has links to teaching materials, syllabi, maps, calendars, and illustrations.

Middle Ages: Feudal Life  ***USE THIS FOR ASSIGNMENT 

Through the Annenberg/CPB public television organization. Very aestethically pleasing and easy to use website with information on feudal life, dress, food, knights, etc. Great overview for high school students to use before delving into the literature of the time period.

Labyrinth: Resources for studying Middle Ages

Sponsored by Georgetown University. This is a highly recommended link, it is one of Kathy Schrock's top 5 Medieval Sites and also recommended by the State Historical Society of Wisconsin and EdSiteMent. A collaborative site that is free, organized and easy to use. Provides a library with links to text, information on national and international culture, and other academic research on the time period.

The website, also known as Luminarium, provides full text English literature from 1485-1603, including authors such as Wyatt, Spenser, Marlowe, Shakespeare, and Raleigh.  Also contains essays and articles and other Renaissance Resources.

Norton Anthology

An online database of literary topics from different time periods.  16th Century topics include Renaissance exploration, magic, spiritual violence, and the Reformation. More advanced and high level information.

EuroDocs

Primary historical documents from Western Europe.  This site contains selected transcriptions, facsimiles, and translations that would especially be good for student research on various Renaissance topics.

Elizabethan England Resources for Teachers

This is a web based meta-site for teachers provided by the Internet School Library Media Center. Contains around 40 links organized into general resources and more specific topics, such as the monarchy, social customs, art and literature, religion, and economic life. Another plus is that it contains lesson plans for teachers.
