1st Semester, 2008

ATTENTION ALL FRESHMEN:  Freshmen conferences will be held 1st and 2nd quarter with your school counselor.  If you cannot attend your conference at your scheduled time, please stop in the counseling office to reschedule.

Mission Statement

The primary goal of the school counseling program is to support and enhance student achievement and accomplishment.  School counselors consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to assist students to be successful academically, vocationally and personally.

Counselor Roles/Responsibilities

The counseling staff uses a variety of activities to help students reach their academic, career, and personal/social potential.  Activities include small group counseling, individual counseling, and classroom guidance.  Counselors also coordinate school programs such as testing, various evening programs, peer tutors, etc.

Career Cluster Guide

The Career Cluster Guide (PDF file)  present a variety of potential education and employment pathways offered at HUHS. The maps describe the kinds of careers available at the end of each pathway and layout the preparation students need to qualify for a particular career area.

Transcripts

Former HUHS Students and graduates may obtain a transcript by downloading the following PDF file: Transcript.PDF

 
Current HUHS students will be charged $5 for each transcript request after the first three requests. 
All transcripts will be processed on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
