The Orioles once again had a solid effort finishing second behind top rated Mukwonago in this 18 team invitational. Harford placed nine wrestlers in the top six, powered by Luke Multhauf's championship. Oriole placewinners were: Duante 5th, Baumgartner 5th, Klink 2nd, Allen 3rd, Linder 3rd, Kenealy 4th, Broadway 3rd, John Gouger 6th. Hartford finished ahead of two state ranked honorable mention teams: Pewaukee and Oak Creek.

The Orioles moved to 3-0 in the Wisconsin Little Ten with a resounding victory over the Beavers. The victory was highlighted by Nick Broadway's pin of the defending champ at 189. Oshkosh On the Water
The Orioles had another great tournament effort finishing 5th out of 53 teams the this grueling two day tournament. Hartford placed ahead of conference rivals Wisconsin Lutheran and Watertown while wrestling without three starters. Leading the effort was Nick Broadway at 189 finishing 2nd while losing to the defending state champ, Luke Multhauf 3rd at 140, Adam Linder 145 and Patrick Kenealy at 152 were 6th, Jarid Baumgartner 119 and Danny Allen 135 were 12th. Sean Fuiten 215 and Weston Klink were one match from placing. Everyone of the eleven wrestlers scored points in the event.

Hartford Completes WLT Sweep!
For the seventh time in the last ten years Hartford captured the Tournament title behind solid team depth.
Hartford had four titlists: Zach Durante, Luke Multhauf (who earned his third WLT title), Patrick Kenealy and Nick Broadway. Other finalists were: Danny Allen and Adam Linder. The other eight wrestlers finished in the top five in the league. Congratulations to the staff and team.

Orioles Miss Out On Regional Title

Hartford and Fond du lac battled each other all day in this two team race and when the dust settled, the Hartford found itself in second place. The Orioles for the most part competed very well qualifying 11 wrestlers for the Sectional. Leading the way were champions: Adam Linder, Luke Multhauf, Patrick kenealy and Nick Broadway.

Kenealy and Broadway Qualify for State
In one of the toughest Sectionals in the State, the Orioles qualified two as second place finishers. Luke Multhauf capped his career with a third place finish while Danny Allen finished 4th.

Junior Nick Broadway had a great tournament just missing 3rd. Patrick Kenealy qualified but could not come away with a victory as he lost for the second year to a state finalist.

matched up with the #1Indians in the regular season finale for both teams.
There were some outstanding matchups, but the key matches in the middle
weights all went to the Indians as the Orioles lost three straight falls.

and in the best match of the night soph Jared Filo knocked off the number 1
rated in SE Wisc Fendryk, 5-3. Over $800 was raised by the crowd
for the Ryan Lampe Fund. |

5th Straight WLT Tournament Title
The Orioles got a tremendous effort up and down the lineup to
hold off a determined Beaver Dam squad to cap off a WLT sweep of both dual
and tournament championships. Earning WLT titlles were: Cody
Zimmerman (3x), Craig Becker (4x), Christian Polega (2x) and Jon Schmidt
(3x), while Zach Katona and Jared Filo finished 2nd. Rounding out the
placing were: Ricky Juarez 3rd, Adam Linder 4th, Luke Multhauf 4th, Ryan
Katona 4th, Tom Laur 4th, Bryan Antonioni 5th, Alex Peterleus 6th and Kyle
Erickson 6th. The Orioles topped Beaver Dam by 5 points. |

With four state finalists the Orioles outdistanced Wisconsin Rapids
and Hartland Arrowhead to win the State Championship for the second time in

The Orioles rebounded from the defeat on Thursday with an
outstanding team effort to come from behind in the final match and claim
the championship. Janesville Craig, Hartford and Sparta were with six
points of each other for most of Saturday. Each team had four in the
finals, but Hartford was the only team able to crown three champs (Craig
Becker, Ryan Abbott and Jon Schmidt). Other placers for Hartford
were: Cody Zimmerman 2nd, Zach Katona 6th, Colt Allen 6th, Kevin Blau 4th
and Peter Hauser for the second year in a row iced the championship with a
fall to take 5th at 275. Hartford outdistanced Craig by 2.5 points. |

waged a battle all day but Arrowhead finished 4.5 pts ahead when all had

State Champion Ryan Abbott leads the way as six of seven qualifiers
notched wins in another solid state tournament experience. Abbott
dominated the field at 145# with two falls, a tech fall and a major
decision over WLT rival Ryan Higgins of Oconomowoc in the final.
Also placing were sophomore Cody Zimmerman with a solid outing finishing
5th at 112# and junior Jon Schmidt who found the podium with a 6th place
finish at 189#. Hartford won 15 matches in the tournament. |

Hartford's Craig Becker was the lone champion and Pinner Award
winner. Finishing 2nd were Ryan Abbott and Jon Schmidt.
Thirds went to Cody Zimmerman, Cyle Scherger and Pete Hauser. Fourths
went to Billy Young and Kevin Blau. Fifths to Matt Bourgeois and

away with seven champions including the OW Ryan Abbott. Other

Hartford finishes 3rd out of
41 teams at Oshkosh On The Water
Powered by championships from Brad Becker and Mike Schmidt,
the Orioles capped off a tremendous weekend at Oshkosh. Brad pinned
his way through the tournament while Mike was not tested as he dominiated
a state placewinner from Lux-Casco for his third championship of the
year. Kyle Becker had an outstanding effort finishing 2nd, Ryan
Abbott came away with seven wins while finishing 3rd, Craig Becker finish
5th, and Matt Bourgeois finished 10th. Hartford got point
production from nearly everyone in the lineup. The was the highest
Hartford finish in the six years participating. Luxemburg-Casco was
first with Burnsville,MN second. |
