WRESTLING PHILOSOPHY/ MISSION STATEMENT |
Hartford Wrestling is
committed to developing champions both on and off the mat. We believe a Champion is
one who lives by high ideals, knows how to set realistic goals, and to dedicate themselves
toward achieving them. The goal of the program is to make the wrestling experience
enjoyable, educational, and enriching! Pursuant to this philosophy, we will expect
our athletes, wrestling personnel, and coaches to represent our program and school in an
acceptable fashion at all times.

SUBJECT: Tune-up Practice starting Tuesday, November 29th
Mr. Paul Keuny, has once again volunteered to hold tune-up
practices, starting Tuesday, November 29th. Practice will be held from 5:30
to 7:00 p.m. at Central Middle School on the following dates:
Tuesday, November 29th
Thursday, December 1st
Tuesday, December 6th
Thursday, December 8th
Tuesday, December 13th
Thursday, December 15th
Tuesday, December 20th
We will still have the regular registration on Wednesday, January 4th.
The above practices are OPTIONAL, at no additional cost. Everyone is
welcomed. All wrestlers who attend must register, so they can obtain a USA
card for insurance purposes. If you plan to attend the first practice on
Tuesday, you will have to register on that night. Registration fee will be
$60.00. Of this $60.00 fee, $30.00 goes towards the USA card and the
remaining $30.00 can be earned back by a parent helping the club at a
variety of events to choose from. If registering on Tuesday, November 29th,
there will be no need to register again in January.

HARTFORD WRESTLING CLUB
2005-2006 REGISTRATION
The Hartford Wrestling Club
begins youth practices (Kindergarten through 8th grade), January 4, 2006 at
Hartford Union High School. Practices are on Wednesday nights and provided
at three different levels of experience.
The White Group - Beginners – Practice from 6:00-7:00 P.M.
The Orange Group - Intermediate – Practice from 7:00-8:00 P.M.
The Black Group - Advance – Practice from 6:30-8:00 P.M.
An optional practice, including all levels is available Thursday nights
at Central Middle School at no additional cost.
Hartford Wrestling Club coaches are a combination of high school coaches
and other experienced volunteers from the wrestling community.
Registration will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2006
at 5:30 P.M. @ Hartford Union High School.
Practice will be held at 6:00
P.M. following registration. A parent’s meeting will be held immediately
after registration. It is strongly encouraged that all parents attend this
meeting.
The registration fee is $60.00, of
which $30.00 can be earned back by a parent helping the club at a variety of
events to choose from. The fee provides a wrestler with a USA wrestling
card, ($30.00 value), a Hartford Wrestling Club T-shirt ($7.00 value),
multiple practices and the Hartford Wrestling Club awards banquet
(priceless).
Come and share in the fun and fundamentals of the Hartford Wrestling

& 25th at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison. TOP TWO place winners in
each age and weight class qualify for the state tournament. All qualifiers
must make the
same weight class at the state tournament that they qualified for at the
regional; there is no weight allowance at state.
Proof of Birth year must be shown at registration or should be
included with the pre-registration form unless you are listed on the WWF
Birth year list on the WWF website, www.wiwrestling.com/WWF. Your Current
USA Card must be shown at registration and the number should be included
