Golf is an individual sport and a team sport.  We wish to emphasis the team aspect of the sport.  Unlike most other sports, a student joining golf can do this sport his entire lifetime.  It is special and has a special attraction for a golfer who is young or old.

It is our goal in golf to have all golfers develop an attitude which is all important in establishing their learning curve.  Their ability to learn, to improve and to perform as an individual or team member, for everyone learns golf in a different manner and at a different pace.  If there is a goal to be set by each one of the golfers, it should be ... to golf the best I possibly can to contribute to a total team effort.

Hartford golf has 3 levels of teams.  They are varsity, junior varsity and freshman.  Usually the varsity team will consist of 5 players, JV 5-6 players and freshman will be 6-8 players. The selection of our teams will be based on their performance on the golf course but also their attendance for practice, attitude, golf etiquette, honesty and knowledge of the rules.

Our home course is Hartford Country Club.  We will practice and compete there. Our away matches are at many local courses. The golfers have the opportunity to play some very nice courses.
