Paul Coffin
Varsity
Defensive Line Coach

Coach Coffin has been the linebackers coach at HUHS since the 2004 season after coaching at Brookfield East High School for seven years.  He was the head JV coach for the Spartans and the Varsity defensive line coach. He lists his best coaching accomplishment as being part of the Brookfield East's level two playoff game after the school had resurrected its football program. Prior to his high school coaching career, Coach Coffin was a defensive coach on the Northern Michigan University staff.

Paul was a standout athlete in high school, known more for his exploits on the track than on the gridiron.  He played defensive end for the Waukesha South football team, but also was a great track athlete there.  His greatest athletic accomplishment was qualifying for the WIAA State Track and Field meet in the long jump and the 4x400 relay.  He also spent a year running track at UW-Madison, before stopping to focus on his studies.

Paul and his wife Jeralyn have one daughter and a son.
