| Dan Brunner Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator Coach Brunner is currently in his 16th year with the Orioles. Previously he spent 13 years as the coach of the St. Francis Mariners. He lead the Mariners to a Parkland conference title in 1980. During his career at Hartford he has compiled a 89-45 record and a .664 winning percentage and has lead them to 4 conference titles in the 90's. Making Hartford the top team in the Little Ten Conference from 1990-1999. He won his first of the new millennium in 2002. In 1995 Dan received the honor of being named as an assistant coach on the South All-Star team in the Shrine Bowl. Brunner was also the head coach of the 2004 South team, which was victorious 20-12 over the North. As a tight end at Milwaukee Tech High School, Dan was an all-state selection in 1971 and drew the interest of many big schools (Colorado State, Wisconsin, Army, Kansas). He chose to go to the University of Wisconsin Whitewater, a premier program in the WSUC conference. There he won two WSUC championships in 1974 and 1975, and was a 4 year starter and 4 year letter winner. In 1975 he was named All-American. Dan had a brief stint with the Green Bay Packers in 1976, but his post college career was primarily spent as a Semi-Pro star with the Delavan Red Devils and the Racine Gladiators. As an all world tight end in 1981, he played in a Semi-Pro all star game in New Orleans. In 1994, he was bestowed upon with the distinguished honor of being named to the UW-Whitewater athletic hall of fame. In April of 2006 Dan Brunner was inducted into the WFCA Hall of Fame, one of the top honors a coach in the state of Wisconsin can achieve. Dan and his wife Kathie have two children, Katie and Brian.
