This game had it all. Two highly esteemed programs in the area. One of the coaches in this game is heading to the WFCA Hall of Fame, the other had the actual field named after him. Hartford and Germantown battled it out for four quarters in a playoff like atmosphere at Phil Datka Field in Germantown Friday night and the Warhawks came away with a come from behind victory to clip the Orioles 28-21 in their final non-conference tune-up. Both teams were very potent through the air as Zach Christopherson continued to keep the Oriole air show in flight. He connected with returning all-conference WR Aaron Rusch 13 times for 111 yards and 1 TD. Junior WR Paul Pridemore also had a nice game for Hartford as he made a tremendous play in the 2nd quarter ripping the ball from a defender and taking it to the house. Germantown scored on a 96 yard TD pass late in the 4th quarter to take the victory in this one.
