Russ took over the Varsity coaching position in 1996. In 2002 he led the Orioles to the state tournament and a top 4 finish. He was an accomplished pitcher in college and high school. Russ also coaches JV football and is the District 6 Representative for the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association.

Ken has been a police officer for over 30 years serving in Watertown and Hartford.  He has coached many years at the high school including, 3 years with the freshmen, 6 years with the junior-varsity, and is currently in his second year as a varsity assistant.  Ken has also coached summer baseball for 22 years.  He had spent 6 years coaching legion baseball, and is currently in his 7th year managing the Hartford Hawks.  In 2000 Ken was named the District IV assistant coach of the year.  He really enjoys working with young men helping them develop their baseball skills as well as important life qualities. 

Scott graduated in 1995 from Homestead High School where he played baseball for four years. Scott was an All-Conference player as a senior and won a State Title in his junior season under Head Coach Ernie Millard. Scott went on to play baseball at Cardinal Stritch University for three years and played one summer in Europe for Team USA. He started his coaching career at Homestead were he was the varsity baseball assistant for three years.  During this tenure, he also coached girls basketball and football, which won a State Title in 1999. Scott began his coaching career at Hartford as a varsity baseball assistant and has held the head coaching duties at the JV level since 2002. He has also coached football, boys basketball and girls golf at Hartford. Scott has a Master’s Degree in Exercise and Sports Science with an emphasis on Sports Administration from La Crosse. Scott currently teaches World Cultures and Contemporary Issues and continues to coach girls golf in the fall.

Ben Kluck graduated from Hartford Union High School in 1997.   Played baseball all four years, and three years under head coach Russ Grundy.  Ben also has coached under Russ since 1998, working at all of the various levels, varsity, JV, and freshman.  Ben has coached Legion baseball for 3 years and will be assisting the junior Legion team this summer.  Ben loves coaching and is always looking to get the best out of each and everyone of his players, on and off the field.

 

Jim Kluck graduated from Hartford Union High School in 1998.  Played baseball for four years, including all-conference honors, and a conference championship his senior year.  Jim went on to play baseball  for Waukesha County Technical College and Lakeland College.  While at Lakeland College he went on to win all-conference honors as a shortstop, and as a senior helped Lakeland finish 5th in the Division III College World Series.  Jim is in his third year as the Freshmen coach, and in the summer will be coaching the newly formed Junior Legion team.        

 

 

Tom Kluck raduated from Hartford Union High School in 2000.  Played baseball all four years at Hartford and was a two time all- conference shortstop.  Tom went on and played  two years of baseball at Waukesha County Technical college. This is his third year assisting at the freshman level and enjoys watching the kids continue to get better throughout the season and the rest of their years at Hartford Union.
