Project Lead The Way

Hartford Union High School is now a Project Lead The Way Certified School, making it the first certified public school district in the state of Wisconsin that offers the Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Biomedical Sciences program. This national certification allows our students to apply for transcripted college credit for their high school PLTW courses.

What is PLTW?

The Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Biomedical Sciences program offers students an array of advantages, from career readiness and hands-on experience to college preparatory-level classes, labs, and creative exercises. The PLTW Biomedical Science program is a sequence of four courses and are offered through the Science Department. PLTW programs are designed to appeal to all students and are hands-on and based in real-world experience. Courses have high standards for rigorous, focused, and engaging study, and develop students’ innovative, collaborative, cooperative, and problem-solving skills.
